I came across this on blog
(very inspiring blogger)
and since my granddaughter likes Audrey Hepburn
and the words made me think of her.....
“For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.”

What a sweet post for your Granddaughter :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog the other day. The little tree that I have was found in the backyard of my in-laws. They have a ton of trees and there are always some branches lying around so I found one and trimmed it up to my liking and then filled a pot with a lot of sand and rocks to make the branch stand straight up. You can then cover the rocks with more sand or garden moss or even seashells during the summer. It is a lot of fun to decorate throughout the seasons and my girls get a kick out of it always changing. Hope this helps and you can go out and find one for yourself :)
Take Care,
Shannon
