Spooky Dinner

On our Fun Friday night sleepover with D we decided to
have a Halloween Spooky Dinner.  Pinterest has so many cute ideas.
 You may note from my pictures that when the cheese melts it really
doesn't look much like a ghost on our Ghost Pizza.

{Menu}

ghost pizza
mummy dogs
 pumpkin shaped cheetos
 Halloween pretzels
(both from the Target Halloween section)
halloween chocolate/orange chip cookies
pumpkin punch
(gingerale and orange sherbert)

we had one happy little guy

and as usual, pancakes for breakfast for our big boy pumpkin

Halloween by Day

I never got the Halloween pictures posted so better late than never I always.
Always lately anyway.

here goes:

Welcome to our Haunted House

part 1, by day

{our foyer}

{breakfast nook}

{our own little pumpkin patch}

a vintage picture using a greeting card

oops, excuse the view.  forgot to close the bathroom door

 {my kitchen}

we got this adorable mickey mouse pumpkin at fort wilderness

{family room}

{dining room}

the plates are Joanna Parker reproductions
the oval pictures are frames from Target (on clearance)
and greeting cards which are really beautiful art in itself

I'm in love with my new halloween wreaths that were suppose to be on our
front doors until I read (INDOOR ONLY) plainly written on the
outside of the boxes after I got them home and out of the box.  I decided to use them
anyway inside.  Still love them but am very disappointed they can't be used outside.

{formal livingroom}

I just bought our candy today.  I don't want to tempt myself or have to go out and
buy additonal candy later.  Hope I can keep the bags closed until tomorrow.

 {grandkids tv/play room}

{carrie's room}

carrie's cutest lil pumpkin she got at a craft fair

{our yard}

one of my favorite decorations are the coachlights which are coverd by
really inexpensive orange pumpkin buckets
they look so sweet illuminated

which brings me to the not so sweet and scarey yard
Mike puts up every year.

there you have it
