Best Friends

The best girlfriends any one could ever hope to have.

Best girlfriends laugh together,
cry for each other
pray for each other
cheer for each other's successes
(do girlscout camping trips together)
love each others children like
they are our own

You can always count on them to be there

J, G, D and K, I want you to know I love you and I'm a better
person for knowing each of you.

Praising God for such sweet friends.

(Yes I know my eyes are closed but it was the only picture I had with all of my best friends in it. It's great of them. Besides, if you know me you know there's a good chance any picture of me has my eyes closed. lol)

Operation Silent Night

Operation Silent Night - Wiphan Care Ministries from Wiphan Care Ministries on Vimeo.

Wiphan Care Ministries serves 450 orphans and 150 widows. Currently they get to go to school for free and receive a free meal(It may be their only meal of the day). They are safe during the day but when they go home and dark comes there is no one to keep them safe.

Operation Silent Night's goal is to provide a safe, silent night by giving them a lock and chain for their doors (intruders are going to be less likely to bother them if entering is to much trouble), a mosquito net, a foam mattress pad with sheeting and a reed mat which will keep the mattress clean from the dirt on the ground. You can join their operation here:

Thank you Andrea. Please check out her precious blog.

Remembering Lost Heros

Today I'm remembering those lost on 9/11. The innocent people in the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. The brave heros (fireman, policeman, EMT's, paramedics, Port Authority workers, military and civilians Pentagon workers and good samaritians who ran toward the disaster while others were running away. And last but definitely not least, the brave men and women on flight 93 who stopped the attack on the Capitol building .

Please continue to pray for their loved ones who remember the loss "every day".
